Essentially, the realisation of full open access for new articles that are published in Cambridge University Press journals for 2017 up to and including 2019, encompassing hybrid journals as well as the open access journals published by Cambridge University Press.
The agreement relates to both the hybrid journals and open access journals published by Cambridge University Press, which now has become the first publishing house to enter into an agreement for both hybrid and open access journals. The journals by scholarly societies (39) are not (yet) included in this agreement.
The open access publishing agreement will come into effect on 1 June 2017 and will remain in effect for three years from that date on.
