In broad strokes, what does the agreement with Cambridge University Press entail?

Essentially, the realisation of full open access for new articles that are published in Cambridge University Press journals for 2017 up to and including 2019, encompassing hybrid journals as well as the open access journals published by Cambridge University Press.

What journals does the Cambridge University Press agreement relate to?

The agreement relates to both the hybrid journals and open access journals published by Cambridge University Press, which now has become the first publishing house to enter into an agreement for both hybrid and open access journals. The journals by scholarly societies (39) are not (yet) included in this agreement.

When will the agreement with Cambridge University Press come into effect?

The open access publishing agreement will come into effect on 1 June 2017 and will remain in effect for three years from that date on.

Who will be able to publish their articles with Cambridge University Press in accordance with the open access agreement?

All corresponding authors from Dutch universities and University Medical Centres, with the exception of the universities of Wageningen and Eindhoven.
