On Tuesday September 27th the seminar Open access doen we samen will take place in Utrecht (Domstad location). HBO institutions are currently very occupied with open access. One of the goals set is to have all publications made available through open access by 2020. How to achieve this goal will be the main focus of the seminar. Copyright will also be an important subject for discussion. Questions related to this topic will include: who has authority over graduate work or a teacher written book or teaching method? The costs and benefits and the different possibilities of publishing in open acces will also be discussed.
The day is made possible through an initiative of SURF in collaboration with Saxion, Windesheim, NAI-hbo, HKI, Hogeschool Arnhem Nijmegen and Hogeschool van de Kunsten Utrecht. More information on the location and how to participate is available on the website of SURFacademy (Dutch only).
