UKB and Karger renew open access agreement

The Dutch consortium ‘samenwerkingsverband van Nederlandse universiteitsbibliotheken en de Koninklijke Bibliotheek’ (UKB) and  Karger have renewed their existing agreement on read and publishing rights for journals for the period 2019-2021. Karger is a publisher in the field of the health sciences.

With the joining of the Radboud University to the new agreement, now the researchers of ten universities in the Netherlands can publish without any costs in more than 100 peer-reviewed Karger journals, both fully OA and hybrid.
Also agreed upon, is perpetual access to the subscribed journals for the period 2019-2021 after the agreement expires.
