Cap ACS is reached

The article maximum quota allocation for the current year of 2025 for journals under the agreement with American Chemical Society (ACS) has been reached last Thursday, the 13th of November.

If your manuscript is accepted by ACS between now and 1 January 2026, the publisher will still offer the option to publish your article Open Access, but the costs will no longer be covered by the consortium agreement with the publisher. You will receive an invoice.

If you still want to share your publication in Open Access, you can contact your library for advice. Alternative options for open access may be the repository route supported by your institution.
