New open access policy TU Delft

TU Delft makes open access publishing mandatory in Repository from May 2016

“The world is facing challenges that cannot be solved by our University of Technology alone”, Rector Magnificus Karel Luyben said during the Foundation Day celebrations on 8 January 2016. Sharing our knowledge can enable others to participate in solving global problems, he believes.  Luyben announced  a new Open Access policy which will be effective from May 2016. This Open Access policy  supports the full-text depositing of scientific publications in TU Delft Repository. “We want our researchers to share their scientific output by default through our TU Delft Repository, in the same way that they now publish in journals or books”, Luyben said. Providing publications in the repository is part of the Open Science policy at TU Delft
