Presentation materials and insights from “Developing a Diamond Open Access Discovery Kit” event now available
The presentation materials and insights from the event "Developing a Diamond Open Access Discovery Kit", held on May 28, are now available on the Zenodo community of the project Strengthening Diamond OA in the Netherlands.
Organized by the Diamond Open Access Expertise Centre in collaboration with local universities, the one-day event brought together librarians, researchers, faculty liaisons, and research support staff to co-develop a practical and adaptable national toolkit. The goal was to support local advocacy and awareness of Diamond Open Access by engaging participants in hands-on sessions to design the core elements of the Discovery Kit.
The event helped advance community-led, equitable publishing in the Netherlands by bringing together diverse perspectives, from what researchers need in a journal to how institutions can better support Diamond OA. In addition to the presentation materials used during the event, the results of a survey on Diamond OA in the Netherlands by Lena Ryzhová and Benedetta Siviero (Erasmus University Rotterdam) are now also openly available on the Zenodo community.
