The fourth edition of the DIAMAS Conversation Series, held on 24 April 2025, explored how the Diamond Open Access Standard (DOAS) — a comprehensive quality framework for Diamond OA publishers — can be applied in real-world contexts. The guest speakers shared their experiences using the DOAS self-assessment tool to reflect on and improve editorial workflows on the University of Milan’s journal platform and discussed how to integrate DOAS into initiatives to establish a national Diamond OA Capacity Centre in Serbia and the Diamond Open Access Expertise Centre in the Netherlands.
