This session invites early career researchers to take a closer look at diamond OA as part of a changing publication landscape in the Netherlands. Rather than treating it as a ready-made solution, we approach it as something that raises questions about ownership, control, and the organization of academic work.
In this session, organized by the Expertise Centre Diamond Open Access, you wi’ll hear from two editors who received funding through the NWO call to flip their journals to Diamond OA, alongside two journals that have already successfully made the transition.
Open scholarly communication is shaped not only by policies, standards, and infrastructures, but also by the communities that create, evaluate, share, and use research.
